About Me

Lixi Zhou is a Ph.D. candidate under the guidance of Dr. Jia Zou. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of AI/ML and database management systems, with a focus on co-optimizing the database queries that are nested with model inference. He is passionate about discovering new opportunities to improve the efficiency of the overall systems. In addition to his main research focus, Lixi also gained valuable experience in privacy-preserving research and has contributed to the open-sourced deep learning compiler ONNX-MLIR during his internship. These additional experiences have broadened his skills and deepened his understanding of the diverse applications of his core research.
